Revocable Living Trust

A person called a grantor sets up a revocable living trust to hold his or her assets during their lifetime. The grantor retains control and ownership of these assets, allowing them to modify or revoke the trust at any time. The trust appoints a trustee to manage and administer the assets according to the specified terms outlined in the trust.

Last Will & Testament

A last will and testament outlines an individual's final wishes regarding the distribution and management of their assets, belongings, and responsibilities after their passing. Beneficiaries are designated in a will and guardians are named for minor children. An executor is listed to oversee the execution of the will.

Financial Power of Attorney

A financial power of attorney grants another person the authority to manage financial affairs and make decisions on an individual's behalf. It is a precautionary measure that allows for the management of financial matters in case they become unable to handle their own affairs due to illness, incapacity, or other circumstances.

Medical Power of Attorney

A medical power of attorney grants another person the authority to make medical decisions on behalf of an individual in the event they are unable to do so due to incapacity or illness. This person, known as the agent, ensures the individual's decisions regarding medical treatment and procedures are respected.

Directive to Physicians

A directive to physicians, aka living will, is a legal document that allows an individual to outline their healthcare preferences and specify the kind of medical interventions or life-sustaining treatments they do or do not wish to receive in case they become incapacitated and unable to communicate.

Declaration of Guardian

A declaration of guardian allows someone to designate a person to act as their guardian in the event they become incapacitated or unable to make decisions regarding their personal and financial affairs. If there is someone that individual would not want acting as their guardian, that can be outlined in the document as well.

Children's Trust

A children's trust is designed to safeguard an individual's assets from various potential risks while allowing them to retain control and use of those assets during their lifetime. A designated trustee manages and oversees these assets according to the trust's terms. The trust shields the assets from creditors, lawsuits, divorce and bankruptcy.

Trust Funding

Trust funding refers to the process of transferring assets and property into a trust. It involves legally moving ownership or titles of assets from an individual or entity to the trust. The assets in the trust can include real estate, bank accounts, investments, personal belongings, and more. This is a crucial step in ensuring that the trust operates as intended.

Your Peace of Mind Planning Session

During our 60-minute Zoom session, we commit the following to you:

Your Questions

We will answer all of your questions and listen as you share your goals, concerns, and objectives.

Your Options

We'll map out your options, including a Will versus a Trust, so you can make educated, informed decisions about what is best for your family.

Our Process

We'll thoroughly review our process and unique flat fee pricing so you know exactly how much your investment will be and how long it will take.

Next Steps

Then, if we both decide we're a good fit to work together, we'll discuss next steps. And if not, that's ok too!

Clarity

Either way, you'll leave our session more clear than ever before about what you need (and don't really need!) to protect your family and assets.
